Audio-Visual items contained within the collection include, the 6-hour made-for-television version of East of Eden starring Jane Seymour, Timothy Bottoms, and Lloyd Bridges; a video copy of Of Mice and Men starring Robert Blake and Randy Quaid; readings of Steinbeck's works by Henry Fonda and Eli Wallach; soundtrack recordings of the made-for-television version of East of Eden, The Red Pony, The Grapes of Wrath and Pipe Dream; 16-mm film prints of films such as Of Mice and Men (1939), The Moon Is Down (1942), Viva Zapata! (1954), and Flight (1961); motion pictures and lectures on VHS and Beta video tapes, filmstrips, and compact discs.
