HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER
Join the National Steinbeck Center and support our programs--Steinbeck in the Schools, Steinbeck Festival and the National Steinbeck Center Museum.

Membership dollars paid to cultural institutions, zoos, arboretums, and aquariums have traditionally been utilized by the institutions to sustain ongoing operations and programs. The National Steinbeck Center will be no different.  A new and expanded membership program is now available.  All existing members of the Center have been grandfathered into this new program, and more importantly, all members and new members who join in our first year of operation will be classified as Charter Members forever. Members receive special benefits such as   invitations to “members only” events throughout the year, and will receive a newly revamped newsletter apprising them of the latest and greatest developments.

You also have the option of making a direct contribution to our Capital Campaign and help build the National Steinbeck Center. All contributions of $5,000 or more will be permanently recognized on the Center's donor wall. There are also naming opportunities available for larger donations to the campaign. You, a family member or friend's name can be permanently enshrined in the Center's courtyard by purchasing a personalized tile through our “Make a Lasting Impression” program. Contact the National Steinbeck Center's Development Department for further details.

Thanks to your membership dollars, the educational and marketing programs for the new facility can continue. Although the building is complete, much behind-the-scenes work needs to begin  so that the Center is positioned to present a quality museum experience to its visitors. Special programs are being developed that will focus on school groups, lecture series and much more. Join with us now and get in on the ground floor!
