VISITOR INFORMATION
The National Steinbeck Center is located in the heart of historic Oldtown Salinas, a scenic 17-mile drive east of Monterey, 60 miles South of San Jose and 105 miles South of San Francisco. Monterey County wineries, championship golf courses, Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca, 17-Mile Drive, Cannery Row, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and other attractions are just a short drive a way.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Open Year Round 10am-5pm Monday - Sunday
*The museum closes at 3 p.m. the day before Thanksgiving, on Christmas Eve, and on New Year's Eve. The museum is closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

PRICE OF ADMISSION
$10.95 Adults
$8.95 Seniors over 62, students with ID, and Military with ID
$7.95 Youth 13-17
$5.95 Children 6-12
FREE Children 5 and under
Members are FREE
