Peter Clothier, author of "Persist: In Praise of the Creative Spirit in a World Gone Mad with Commerce"

Peter Clothier enjoys an enthusiastic world-wide following for his blog, The Buddha Diaries. Choosing a life-long calling as a writer over a burgeoning career in art school administration in the 1980s, Clothier has since devoted himself exclusively to his work as a widely-published art writer and critic for national and international magazines. Greatly influenced by Buddhist thought and practice, he is known as a public speaker who inspires audiences with his fresh approach to creativity and the creative process. Clothier has also been an acknowledged authority in the ManKind Project, an international organization devoted to helping men change their lives. He lives and works in Southern California.
