MUMFORD & SONS Bring Honor to Steinbeck

The Grammy Award nominated band Mumford & Sons will be coming to Monterey County as part of their national Gentlemen of the Road Tour.

Deeply inspired by John Steinbeck, Mumford & Sons will be hosting a program with the National Steinbeck Center, which will include music, drama and discussion.

The program will explore how John Steinbeck’s work continues to be relevant and inspiring to artists from around the world.

Featuring Steinbeck Scholar Susan Shillinglaw, the event will highlight Mumford & Sons and their powerful connection and inspiration by Salinas’ Native Son.
