The National Steinbeck Center is proud to present SpectorDance “Ocean”, an innovative live performance integrating interviews with leading ocean scientists, high definition underwater film, original music and dance.

SpectorDance collaborated with the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) to create Ocean. SpectorDance brings a long history of creating innovative dance media works that weigh in controversial topics and MBARI provides over 20 years of cutting‐edge ocean science research. This strategic teaming brings together fact and feeling to inform and inspire. Ocean explores changes in ocean chemistry, storm patterns, extinction of species, and the food web. Ocean will take the audience on a journey of discovery.
