The National Steinbeck Center is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The National Steinbeck Center will be closed to the general public on Monday, March 11, 2013 to host 'Day of Writing' for the Steinbeck Young Authors Program.

**The Center closes at 3 p.m. on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) and New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31).

**The Center is closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Any other temporary closures will be posted on both this page and on our Calendar of Events page at least one week prior to the closure.

Late Admission

The National Steinbeck Center offers a reduced admission rate ($2.00 off regular admission) for all patrons arriving to the Center after 4:00 p.m.
