Inaugural “Cocktails and Culture” Event

January 23 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Cocktails & Culture will be an event that includes art, culture music, food and drinks.

On Thursday, Jan. 23, the National Steinbeck Center will be hosting our first in a quarterly series of “Cocktails & Culture” events.

Cocktails & Culture will be an event that includes art, culture music, food and drinks. This inaugural event will feature the long-awaited grand unveiling of a mural depicting a scene from John Steinbeck’s “The Pearl.” The piece is by acclaimed Salinas artist Jose Ortiz.

The unveiling of the mural to our museum also coincides with the presentation of our new “Pearl” curriculum – part of our Steinbeck Young Authors program, which will be introduced nationally and internationally in 2020.

Please join us from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for this festive and culture-filled evening. We’ll also be offering a signature drink in honor of the event, the Steinbeck Stinger.

NSC Members & Guests – Free
Non-Members – $10.00
