NSC Special Members Event – “Behind the Lettuce Curtain” Exhibition

February 11 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us on February 11th for the opening preview of our new Exhibit “Behind the Lettuce Curtain: Illuminating the Landscape of the Salinas Valley” featuring opening remarks by

Joe Heston, President and General Manager of KSBW television.

This exhibit, which runs from Feb. 11th to April 4th, will feature a special screening of KSBW’s documentary “Beyond the Lettuce Curtain.”

The exhibit itself tells the story of the farmworkers and residents of the Salinas Valley. Its purpose is to shed light on their struggles and triumphs as they continue to work towards a brighter future for their families and communities.

It also examines the current socio-economic issues facing the Salinas Valley communities and the aspirations for the future of their families.

This event, which includes wine and appetizers, is free for NSC members and $5 for non-members.
